In Hollywood - there is a little-known gem

EXT. HOLLYWOOD RESERVOIR - NOON

Three quick laps – an ideal lunchtime spin. As BANJO takes off, a cyclist approaches from the other direction. Peering above their protective masks, they eyeball each other like two alpha males protecting their territory on the nature channel.

Halfway around the reservoir, Banjo nods to mega-runner and former Knots Landing actress JOAN VAN ARK @JoanVanArkFanSite. She's also wearing a mask, but their paths have crossed many times and her jogging style is memorable.

As he ends the first lap, Banjo and the other cyclist come across each other at the exact same spot. They barely acknowledge the crazy timing and peddled on. After a second time around, it happens again. The stares turn into cracked smiles.

After miraculously ending in the same spot for a third time, they both stop. From a healthy distance, Banjo introduces himself to COLIN, an Intellectual Property Specialist who works with the estate of DR. MAYA ANGELOU @DrMayaAngelou. They share a good laugh about the equality of their timing.

  •    COLIN
(through mask) Damn, we're both really fast.

       BANJO
    (through mask) Or really slow.

EXT. RESERVOIR - LATER THAT WEEK

Banjo notices that a hex bolt has gone missing from his favorite little-known Hollywood gem. It's a little thing, but it makes a big differnce. He worries that if barely anyone knows it's even there, how will it ever be fixed?

In Hollywood - it helps to have solid references

EXT. YMCA - A DAY AFTER

On his walkabout, Banjo recognizes the UNMASKED, UNGLOVED, UNPROTECTED HOMELESS GUY up ahead. Having interacted with JACK for many years, he's not surprised by his cavalier look and chilled attitude.

According to Jack, Jack has accrued a generous military pension and healthy Workman's Comp settlement. His plan is to live homeless now and save those benefits to live high on the hog in his later years. Banjo can only imagine how he must think this whole Corona thing is bullshit.

Banjo gives Jack a two-gloved finger peace sign.

  •    BANJO
    (through mask) Crazy shit, eh?

       JACK
    Eh - it's all bullshit.

In Hollywood - some white men will never jump

INT. HARDWARE STORE - HALF HOUR LATER

Banjo rummages through the nuts and bolts section of @TashmansHomeCenter until he finds a similar hex bolt.

From there, he visits a local body shop and convinces a very non emoting welder to shave down and smooth out the top surface.

In Hollywood - it's always best to start with a blank page

INT. DTLA JEWELERS - A FEW DAYS LATER

Banjo meets third generation Hand Engraver VANA @GerardLeonFineJewelry. They had previously spoken over the phone. She was amused by his plan and felt confident she could etch Banjo's Tasty Nuggets logo on the surface of the clean hex bolt.

In Hollywood - dress rehearsals are key to success

EXT. HOLLYWOOD HILLS - THE NEXT MORNING

While cycling, Banjo runs into a PPE-less MOBY @Moby taking out his garbage.

EXT. HOLLYWOOD RESERVOIR - SHORTLY AFTER THAT

Banjo blows on the touch up paint to make sure it's dry, then heads into the reservoir to install his customized bolt on the down low.

In Hollywood - remember to give the drummer some
