BIG SNACK
Snack food revenue will amount to US $53.33bn in 2025. The market is expected to grow annually by 3.48% for each of the next five years.
Categories of snacks includes chips, nuts, sweet snacks, jerky and pretzels. Many of the companies that make these items are some of the leading spenders in the areas of advertising and promotion. Film Reviews In A Snack is a fresh way to get their attention.

Ex. The Post compared the Netflix show ‘Tex Mex Motors’ to the jacked up intensity of Takis flavored rolled tortilla chips. Takis is part of Grupo Bimbo, a huge Mexican multinational food conglomerate.
THEATER CHAINS
Theaters make money when you buy a ticket. But then they have to give a lot of that money (usually about 50%) back to the Studios. So it’s a relatively low-margin business. The theaters make their huge profit margin selling you popcorn and snacks. According to NYU Professor Charles Schreger, who focuses on the business of entertainment, snacks (popcorn, Jujyfruits, Junior Mints, etc.) provide 30-40% of a movie theater’s revenue.

Theater chains could commission Film Reviews In A Snack to review new releases for in-lobby posters that celebrate the films and available snacks. Film Reviews In A Snack ‘posters’ living in-lobby (and Online) would help promote – and even target – snack consumption for what’s playing on screen. Poster campaigns could help create a fresh on-going candy / snack promotional series to pair with new releases.
STREAMERS

Streamers could also commission Film Reviews In A Snack to review their new releases for on-screen promos that showcase the films and the home snacks that go best with them. This could help platforms elevate the offering to more of an event style feel.
FESTIVALS & AWARD SHOWS

Film Reviews In A Snack posters with their candy pairings could make for good Host banter for live audiences, as well as for those watching at home.
Film Reviews In A Snack is a great way for festivals and award shows to court Big Snack partnership / sponsorship $s – something all festivals and award shows could use more of.
Film Reviews In A Snack is a sophiosticated and high-profile way for snack partners and sponsors to showcase their snack items to the receptive audiences of celebs, festival movie lovers and award show attendees.
